The professional background of the competition is provided by Hungarian Oil Workers' Union, which has been supporting the event for many years. At the local level, the competition is organized by Nagyberki Local Government, Szász Endre General and Art School, and, periodically, Kaposvár Ring SC. This multi-pillar organizational model contributes significantly to ensuring that the tournament is held smoothly and without disruption every time.

Based on previous years' experience, Szalacska Cup offers a varied program for participants and fans alike. On the day of the competition, medical examinations and weigh-ins will take place in the morning, followed by a draw to determine the order of the afternoon matches. The matches start at around 2 p.m., usually in several age groups: sub-junior, junior, youth, and adult categories. In previous tournaments, there were typically 20-25 clubs and 80-100 competitors represented, which shows that the cup is a prominent sporting event even at the national level. The competition saw many exciting clashes, including competitors who later went on to compete successfully in national championships and international tournaments.
