One of the most important youth development and talent scouting —the Mátra Cup Student Tournament

—will take place this winter on December 12, 2026

once again welcoming combat sports enthusiasts! Gyöngyös Athletic Club (GYAK 1906) and the Hungarian Student Sports Federation

will feature Hungary's most promising young fighters stepping into the ring.

Special thanks to the Gyöngyösolymos Nagy Gyula Catholic Elementary School

for providing a venue (gym) with excellent facilities, which will serve as a fitting venue for this time-honored winter showdown.
