The Legacy of Firebird – A New Chapter in Hungarian Education

• On April 18, a special sporting event awaits combat sports fans at Kellner Ferenc Sports Center in Budapest: Legacy of the Firebird, a student gala that fittingly celebrates the new generation of Hungarian boxing. The event is centered around the debut of exceptionally talented young athletes selected by Zsolt Erdei, an iconic figure in Hungarian boxing, who will step onto the professional stage for the first time this evening.
  
  

The program kicks off with spectacular kickboxing matches featuring invited guest fighters, followed by matches featuring young students that will set the tone for the evening. After the second intermission comes the highlight of the evening: six professional debut matches, which offer a glimpse into the future of Hungarian youth boxing.

The sporting event will be accompanied by a special cultural moment: Viktor Erdélyi, son of Zsolt Erdei, takes the stage with a 10–15-minute, energetic rap performance, turning the gala into a true fusion of sports and music. 

The evening’s atmosphere is further enhanced by a series of valuable prizes that can be won with raffle tickets available for purchase on-site, making the experience even more memorable the experience.

The Legacy of the Firebird gala is not just a sporting event, but a true celebration: an opportunity for the public to meet for the first time those young talents who may soon become leading figures in the Hungarian and even the international boxing world.
