– is one of the most important and iconic sports facilities in the historic Baroque city and Heves County. The spectacular circular building has been the heart of local sports life for decades, serving not only professional clubs, but also as a venue for mass sports and major cultural events.

🏗️ The building’s history and renovations

The circular hall was inaugurated on November 3, 1978, after Heves County Council Construction Company completed the construction work. As Hungary's fourth arena, it was named after renowned Eger-born Ferenc Kemény

In recent years, the building has undergone a major wave of modernization:

  • In 2015 as part of Phase I of the renovation, the electrical and heating systems were upgraded, the reception area was expanded, the changing rooms were modernized, and the escape routes and viewing platforms were made safer.
